Silvio,
Thinking of you I remember how Barbara had shared her fondest childhood memories with me, of how her grandma would feed her cold fried fish that she hated, how her father never loved her or her twin, and you were a great part of those years for her.
I had eyed someone from the crystal window of my office that was specked and adorned by a single dried fall leaf in a vibrant red (no, not red. Crimson. My sister says crimson is more stylish and we agree on our genetical need for style. She says this while she balls a honeydew melon on a smooth kitchen island.) Silvio, you remind me of that moment.
And now as I read about avant-garde poetry, I have a compulsive need to feel your words.

Your words are always so delicious.
Love you,
