Today is my first mothers day. Never felt this day meant so much on a very personal level as it did today. I would wish my mum and even send her flowers. I am a big fan of my mom and have always told her that I wish I would be half the mother she is, half as patient as her and half as good looking as her. But today I felt like I was a bit more my own identity... as a new mom. Z, my husband got me beautiful gladiolis in yellow and peach, we had friends over for lunch and lots of people called to wish me. All thanks to my yum yum baby, who has made me a mommy.
