It has been freezing cold the past couple of days with wind chill that could shave your ears off if you stepped out. Its like there is a pact betwen the sun and the wind, one stretches and shines and the other stings you when you step out. I also noted that not many houses are decorated for Halloween, which is today, in comparison to last year.
There is however, despite the mean weather, a wonderful warmth at home. MY SISTER IS HERE WITH US!! My son is in love with his maasi, who wouldn't be, she who brings him autorickshaws? We cook lovely meals together, talk, have fun discussions, ramble, we went shopping yetserday and I was just so plain happy to be with her, she who tells me what looks and doesn't look good on me with utmost honesty, talk... It is just so lovely. I woke up early again now. Woke up with this very warm and happy feeling like there was a whisper in my ear about how blessed I am. My little one sleeping peacefully in his bed right next to ours, his warm breath and sweet smell reaching me. My sissy sleeping in her room, warmly tucked away in a big warm comforter, hopefully till later this morning (she has hardly slept and has had no traces of jet lag either but she needs to rest), Z has very early mornings and I can hear the slight snoaring. So all is well and even better in my world.
